Surya Teja K<p>I am really rooting for <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Ladybird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ladybird</span></a> browser to be ready so I can jump ship. </p><p>Mozilla has clearly lost their vision of being a non-privacy invasive, truly free and open web browser. Their re-wording of the T&C doesn’t mean shit if your identity and ideology has changed.</p><p>If I had my way at Mozilla, I would:<br>1. Close for-profit organisation, kick out the C-suites, hand over any and all power back to the non-profit organisation.<br>2. CEO is getting a HUGE pay cut. (quit if you are unhappy)<br>3. Sell the ad company to recoup the costs (might not make a profit)<br>4. Make sure to restructure the organisation without layoffs (or keep them to a bare minimum).<br>5. Google money would have to stay (for the next few years) unfortunately until we figure out where to invest/pull out money from.</p><p>A man can dream 🙃</p><p>Thunderbird would still be with us (Love you <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@thunderbird" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>thunderbird</span></a></span>) though. </p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/diary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diary</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/mozilla" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mozilla</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/mozillacorp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mozillacorp</span></a></p>
