#stationery update: my Sterling Ink planners and notebooks have arrived! Plus me discovering a local leathermaker who does custom planner covers (I'm the one who's late to the game, he's got customers as far as Nigeria!). anyway, so now I have some thoughts on what's my aesthetic plan for next year, but that's for the next video perhaps.

Ad?min is inspiring me to get back into (fountain) pen & paper journaling.

I just blogged about how I use my Hobonichi Cousin paper journal. More freeform than many folks. May be of interest! https://vivsacademicblog.wordpress.com/2024/09/20/using-a-hobonichi-paper-journal/ #stationery #journaling #journalling #journal #Hobonichi #HobonichiTecho #fountainPen #fountainPens #productivity #brainstorming #paper

I am back home.
And today is the immensely pleasurable task of doing nothing but drink tea and catch-up with my journal. And being warm.
You can make writing poems a part of your daily practice by adding them to journal entries.
I created a website for just that, and you can try it today at giantheartpoetry.com

I wanted to use this particular washi tape, so I made a colour scheme around it. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
It's the most colours I've ever used in a single spread! I love the warm spring vibes, though, I'm definitely feeling it.
The week of March 24th-30th. I usually only do two colours per page, but I thought I'd challenge myself this time with three. ^^
A full moon week!
Since I finally got my new supplies, decided to celebrate by sitting down and making next week's layout.
Getting ahead of myself because I just love sitting down at my desk and making these layouts so much. X) Enjoying this red + chartreuse colour scheme!
First week of March. Plus a couple of bonus shots: A photo of my desk in the midst of the stamping chaos and a close up of the numbers for fun.
I'm a little behind in sharing my journal layouts… sorry about that! Here they are. <3
February's monthly summary page. Using the shimmery pink Sachihata Iromoyo stamp ink. :D
My (mostly finished) layout for Jan 14th - 20th, plus the cover of my 2024 journal showing off some awesome new stickers I got from @mamath
Amaterasu, Chibiterasu, and Vulpix are . Thank you so much, Mamath!
("Cure Alls Cure Nothing" sticker is from the Sawbones podcast, and the absolutely amazing "Sleepy Bitch Disease" sticker is from @GoblinHellion: https://ko-fi.com/s/312d87ec3e )
I usually try to continue the thread when I post my journal stuff, but I figured it being a new year I should start a new thread for my layouts this year. X)
Here's the end of the previous thread, for those interested: https://comicscamp.club/@Rheall/111588252625685608 (Included in that link are the first few pages of my 2024 journal. I'm good at planning. )
So my new journal is mostly set up now. Here are the first two weekly layouts of 2024 (heavily redacted because I already started filling them out before I photographed them. Whoops!). (Also, symptoms were bad the past week because I've been sick. It's not usually this much red. )
They're not that different from last year's layouts because I think I've worked out a system that really works for me. Hoping I get more creative with the colour palettes this year. :)
New year, new introduction!
Hi! I’m Bek. I’m here to find real people who I vibe with. I’m one of those ADHD types who has a vast array of hobbies and interests, so I’ll try to capture the salient points in hashtag form:
I'm still exploring how to organize my planner pages (eg next week's timelog might be different) but i genuinely recommend using highlighter sticky notes as part of your planning. I can move items and meetings around and then only 'properly' log them once it's passed (either done or rescheduled, if that's important to note). Great for recurring tasks too. #stationery #journalling #planner
